I am a self-taught henna (mehndi) artist with a lifelong passion for the art, practising since childhood. With years of hands-on experience creating traditional and contemporary henna designs, I have also taught adult learners during my time working at Leicester College. My background combines practical artistry with teaching experience, allowing me to deliver high-quality henna services with a strong foundation in technique, creativity, and cultural authenticity.

Yes. We use 100% natural henna, free from chemicals and black henna. It is safe for most skin types.

A patch test is not usually required for natural henna. However, if you have very sensitive skin or allergies, please pop in to the salon 24 hours prior to your appointment. for patch test just walk in during our working hours.

This depends on the design. Simple designs take 10–20 minutes, while detailed or bridal mehndi can take 1–6 hours.

Henna typically lasts 7–14 days, depending on skin type, after-care, and exposure to water and products.

The stain develops over 24–48 hours after paste removal, gradually darkening to a rich brown tone.

Avoid water for at least 24 hours after removing the paste. Early washing may result in a lighter stain.

Natural henna is generally considered safe, but we recommend consulting your midwife or GP if you have concerns.

Yes. Bridal mehndi, party bookings, festivals, and corporate events are available. Please contact us in advance for availability and pricing.

To achieve the darkest and longest-lasting stain, please follow these after-care tips:

• Keep henna paste on for at least 6–8 hours (or overnight if possible)
• Avoid water for 24 hours after paste removal
• Gently scrape off dried henna—do not wash it off
• Apply natural oil
