All you need to know about eyelash extensions:

  • What are the differences between Classic (Individual) lash extensions and Volume?
  • The classic lash extensions most widely used technique involves applying a single lash extension over your natural lash, the Russian Volume technique (also referred to as the Volume Technique or 3D lashing) then the technician places up to eight ultra-fine extensions onto each natural eyelash for a fluffy and thick effect.
  • For how long do lashes hold up?
  • The first infill is recommended after 3-4 weeks, depending on the density of eyelashes, their natural growth and environmental impact.
  • How long does the eyelash extensions treatment take?
  • Lash extensions times depends what you want to do, if you want to make Individual lashes that takes about 2 hours, if volume extension – about 2 to 3 hours.
  • Can I use mascara after treatment?
  • NO. And do not use eyelash curlers! If you still decide to use the mascara, use special or non-greasy formula. Only apply mascara on the tips of eyelashes without touching the extension line. Ideally, wash out the mascara gently with water.
  • Will I need a patch test?
  • Yes, it is compulsory to have a patch test 24 hours prior to your appointment. The therapist will apply one small, not visible eyelash on your own lash and if you don’t react (itchiness or redness) then you are okay to have the treatment.
  • Can I remove my lash extension by myself?
  • When only a few extensions remain in place, it is not recommended to do an infill. It is recommended to find a specialist that can remove all remaining eyelashes. It can be done at home as well, with the help of castor oil, but it will take longer and can cause discomfort.
  • How I can remove my makeup with eyelash extension?
  • If you want to remove your eye shadow or makeup, foundation around your eyes, don’t use oil-based cleaners and eye creams – they dissolve the adhesive! The best is to use Micellar water.
